Better Homes and Gardens has been a trusted name many homes since 1922. Now their Test Kitchen has a brand new cookware set available. They were designed to be durable but also extremely functional and enjoyable to use. There are three different sets available, Hard Anodized, Non-stick Porcelain Enamel, and Tri-Ply Clad 18/10 Stainless Steel.
BHG sent me a Hard Anodized 13 piece set to try and one set to give away!
I have to say my review might be a little biased because I was beside myself thrilled to get a new set of pans! Our pots and pans, now twelve years old, originally cost $50 when I bought them in college. While they were only supposed to be temporary, we never got around to upgrading. This new set really is great! In the three weeks I’ve had them I haven’t burnt a thing :)
Seriously though the non-stick has been wonderful and they are very easy to clean. My favorite part is the silicone and stainless steel handles. Our old set I had to stick a spoon under the handle to lift a lid off (or get a pot holder) so it is wonderful to just lift a pot lid when I want to! Another fun feature is having glass lids. It might take a little while to get used to being able to see the food while it cooks, but it is awesome rather than playing peeka-boo constantly with our old set.
